Bazee crowns strong comeback with goal

27. Feb 2022

Noah Sarenren Bazee was hampered by a knee injury in the first half of the season. In the second half, however, FC Augsburg’s right winger has made an impressive comeback. In addition to regular playing time, the 25-year-old even capped his comeback with a goal in the match against Borussia Dortmund.

With his second Bundesliga goal overall, he rewarded himself for weeks and months of hard, holistic work on himself and individual training. With the score at 0:1 against the league runners-up, Sarenren Bazee was substituted for Michael Gregoritsch in the 70th minute. Eight minutes later, he headed past BVB goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to secure an important point for his team.

Noah has earned this. I’m very happy for him. He has been making a stable impression for months. He has improved in terms of his physicality. It’s wonderful when he rewards himself with an action like that.
