Kabadayi extended until 2024

FC Bayern has extended the contract of youth striker Yusuf Kabadayi. Less than a week after his 18th birthday, the Munich native signed a new contract at Säbener Straße until June 2024.

“If anyone deserves to be called a homegrown, it’s Yusi. The fact that he will now join us in the future and wants to establish himself here in men’s soccer really makes us very happy,” said Campus Director Jochen Sauer. “Yusi is a great striker talent, he is a sly one. I am very excited about his further path with us, but basically I trust him with a lot,” says Holger Seitz, sporting director at FC Bayern Campus.

At the start of the season, Kabadayi played alternately for the amateurs and the U19s before suffering a serious shoulder injury on the second matchday of the UEFA Youth League at the end of September. Last weekend, the youth international made his competitive comeback in the U19s’ unfortunate away defeat in Karlsruhe.

I was born in Munich and have played for FC Bayern from a very young age. That’s why I’m grateful and immensely happy to be able to take the next steps in my development at my club. It would be a dream to play for FC Bayern at the Allianz Arena at some point.
